My practice begins with field research and material collection across diverse landscapes. Tree bark, fallen branches, wood-decaying fungi, lichens, and traces left by processes of decomposition form the material foundation of my work. Rather than treating these materials as specimens of nature, I approach them as records of time, environmental change, and material transformation.

Working across painting, wall-based sculpture, moving image, and projection, I am interested in how materials shape perception and how perception is continually reconfigured through the changing conditions of matter. Light, transparency, texture, and spatial relationships are not simply formal elements; they actively participate in the construction of each work, allowing material processes to remain present rather than become subjects of representation.

My recent work draws from slow ecological processes such as decay, transformation, and the continuous exchange between different forms of life. Rather than depicting these processes, I seek to let them inform the temporal and material logic of the work itself. The work does not attempt to represent nature, but to allow its material processes to continue within it.

I am interested in creating perceptual fields rather than stable images. By allowing materials to refract, conceal, preserve, and transform, the work remains open to change and resists becoming a fixed representation. For me, the work is not an image of nature, but a site where matter, time, space, and perception continuously negotiate one another.
